Mid North Coast Contractors (MNCC) was honored to collaborate with National Parks and Kempsey Shire Council on a pivotal resurfacing initiative. This large-scale project involved the construction of a new bitumen surface across an 8-kilometre expanse, stretching from the vibrant township of Crescent Head to the scenic Big Hill. Our comprehensive roadworks included the enhancement of causeways and road pavements, ensuring a durable and safer travel experience for the community.
A cornerstone of this project was our engagement with local Aboriginal Elders and activists. Their invaluable insights and guidance allowed us to navigate the work with deep respect for the land and its cultural significance. This collaboration was instrumental in executing the project efficiently, within the set timeframe, and without compromising safety or environmental integrity.
Our successful partnership with the National Parks, Kempsey Shire Council, and the local community underscores MNCC’s commitment to delivering high-quality infrastructure projects that honor local heritage and foster community well-being.
