Bellingen Bridges

Mid North Coast Contractors (MNCC) had the opportunity to collaborate with the Bellingen Shire Council on a vital infrastructure project, part of the Australian Government’s “Fixing Country Bridges” scheme. Our mission was to build new bridgeworks, starting with the demolition of an old bridge that had served its time. This was a big task, but our team was ready for the challenge.

After carefully taking down the old structure, we focused on the core of the new bridge – the pylon works. These are the strong pillars that hold the bridge up, and getting them right was crucial. With expertise and precision, we laid the foundation for a new, sturdy bridge designed to last for generations.

Our work didn’t stop there. We then constructed the new bridge, ensuring it was safe, reliable, and ready to connect the community. Being part of the “Fixing Country Bridges” scheme meant we were contributing to improving infrastructure across the country, making travel safer and more accessible for everyone in the Bellingen area.
